Comfortable Living
I am a comfort loving person. I try to avoid hassle to my best, have things at hand and try to do everything as efficiently as possible. This applies not only to work life but also to my home life. At home I seek to have everything in order because in the end, it saves me time because I don’t have to waste my time on looking for things. Also, when everyone in the family knows where things are stored, no one needs to stress or turn the house upside down while looking for them. However, comfortable living applies to other areas of home life, too.
I say that comfortable living also includes the overall atmosphere in the house. When the basics are taken care of, it is easier to build everything else on top of it. That is to say that make sure that in your home you have implemented the things that make you feel comfortable. It is very personal but there is, however, some general advice for this.
In home, it is important to have colors that don’t irritate you or annoy you. Make sure that all the colors are neutral or otherwise soothing. For me, for example, all the textiles and their colors are very important. I always take care that the curtains, blankets and carpets are up to date and look fresh. Other thing that creates the mood for me is our fireplace. We got our fireplace a year ago from Uunisepät and it has been the Zen factor in our home ever since. We were lucky that the fireplace models at Uunisepät were simple and sleek enough for our liking. Ever since, the fireplace has been the essential part of keeping our house calm and cozy.
Comfort comes also from arranging everyone’s schedule in a way that everyone is aware what and when something is taking place. It is good to have the hobbies and other reoccurring events visible for everyone, for example, in a form of a chart.
Thanks to orderliness, our cozy Uunisepät fireplace and time tables my family and I are living comfortably with less hassle and more time.
