Fireplaces in Homes
Everyone has probably seen tens of different options of fireplaces, at least in the movies. The shapes, the colors and the designs vary greatly but usually the fireplaces look like they are from the same mold. Why is that? And if you want an up-to-date fireplace, where to look for it?
I have been in the fireplace jungle for a few years now, ever since I got the fireplace frenzy and firmly decided upon having a fireplace in my home. I have visited more than a dozen of fireplace stores live and many more virtually online. Many companies offer traditional brick fireplaces but I wanted something special and never settled for the traditional. Also, one should always pay attention to the engineering of a fireplace, because a fireplace is not merely an eye candy, it is also a heater. After a few months’ of research, I stumbled upon a Finnish fireplace company called Uunisepät. On their website I found incredible fireplace designs: shiny sleek black, white stone with a place for the logs and many more. I was thrilled, because finally there was a chance for me to find a fireplace of my liking. However, then I got scared; maybe they were just about design and not about engineering. A week after my finding, I went to their store. Lucky for me, Uunisepät had one of the best engineering that there is in the industry. I had a long discussion with them about the engineering and heat reserving fireplaces versus decorative fireplaces. The staff at Uunisepät was greatly helpful and in about two months I was sitting in my armchair in my living room in front of my very own fireplace called Galaxy.
Looking
back I am truly happy to have been so picky about my fireplace. I
went out there and found out about all the options that I had. A
fireplace is an investment and you should not take it lightly and
just get any fireplace on the market. A good fireplace will last you
decades and decades and won’t cause you gray hair. So put your time
into finding the right fireplace and you will be more than pleased.
